been attempting to repair and improve some classic gaming consoles to start a collection of my own. saw on youtube that owning the right tools and screwdrivers makes a huge difference between a good and bad experience with console hacking, moding, and repairs. happy to have made this choice, this set includes pretty much every console and some handheld screwdrivers that i need to preserve my classic video games and consoles.

Rubbing Alcohol has always been the most effective way to clean video cartridges to me. most importantly pure Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. it is not only magical for taking off marker written prices from video games cartridge plastic coverings. its also the best way imho to clean the electrical circuits, mother boards, and most importantly those dusty electronic contacts of video games. Unlike this tool kit the alcohol is cheap to purchase and we always have some around the house. much like this video gaming console kit rubbing alcohol does a pretty good job for what i use it for. in short i am very pleased with my purchase and surprised at the quickness to shipment and the fast delivery. good job people well done!

back in the day, when i got my virtual boy i read article by TIME Magazine listing the Virtual Boy as one of the worst inventions of all time. in spite of that magazines opinion i can't resist picking up my vb and playing a game of wario land. the 32 bits of bliss is the only 3d experience that i look forward to after a look hard day at work. that's why it was imperative that i only use a quality screwdriver to open it and repair the viewer. for without it i wouldn't be able to immersing myself into my own private universe. i am happy with the shipping speed of your delivery and from what i read online about your gamebit - i can see after receiving mine, why it the only one regarded by respected collectors as a must have in gaming console tool box. thank you.

Capresso support gave me allot of help to fix my jura, but i'm afraid that repair cost was extremely too high for me to afford at this time. i read in a blog that you could get the jura coffee maker tool, the oval, yourself off ebay. after some time looking around i came across many people offering the single oval key for the jura. at the last minute i decided to get the screwdriver set instead - for various reasons. the most important reason is that i was dealing with an error 5 issue and i needed to get into the thermal block. i figured i would need more than one just screwdriver to do that. luck on my side i was right. when the tool kit arrived in 3 days shipment time, i had everything tool and screwdriver to open and modify the jura capresso coffee maker.

all i need is a can of wd-40 and good brand of gamebits to make my geek life go swell. in my years of being on this planet i haven't found anything that wd40 won't do. personally i think next to this tool kit, i love wd40 a bit more. so far i have opened up a virtual boy with a glitch in viewer. after opening the vb, i sprayed a little into cap, dip a q-tip in it - lightly moistening it, rub the ribbon contacts and the ribbon connector. over the holiday weekend i've been able to clean all but a few of the most stubborn video game cartridges.

before trying it i watched over a dozen youtube videos about Baking a Nintendo Virtual Boy for Fixing display problems. carefully i tried almost every step i could possible consume including using a hair dryer to warm the circuit board to good health. i've seen this work in several of the videos for Fixing a Nintendo Virtual Boy with display issues. In my case the One eye piece isn't working at all and the other is full of glitches. the only thing left was to tear it down and get into the circuit board - up close and personal like. most of the nintendo screwdrivers are advertised as being long enough to reach the screws. some are while the notch aren't worth a darn once you reach the screw, while other aren't long enough. after receiving pretty good shipping time i cracked open the virtual boy for the first time to poke around. on the circuit board was fine hair like circuit trace that had a small torn piece in it. a soldering iron and drop of solder brought it back to life.

in the past i had no quorum with being cheap and using the melted piece plastic to mold a nintendo screwdriver, but as of late that hasn't worked out so well for me. that is not to say that the fumes might not be the best for ones health. it was time that i gave my cartridges a good cleaning again; and owning the actual tool seemed as if it made life allot easier.

I repair older video game consoles and i set out to find some useful tool that help me do this sort of work since my existing tool kits were limited. pleased with the delivery speed of parcel - i opened the package and got a bit more than i imagined from reading the descriptions on the web. imho i think this tool kit suit me just fine. excellent. tks
