Those odd screws on the back of a Motorola digital cable box suck! It took me like a week to find the screw and another week to find the tool to take em off. Upon completion of any service to a comcast digital cable box, as a service technician we have to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operational condition. included in that check list is ensuring the mechanical securities are secured. We tighten the standard security screws with an air gun, and some times replace the unichassis tamper pin. This process is equivalent to what we used to do on the jerrold 550 model icft 2026 in Birmingham Great Britain. That is why I am happy to come here each time to find these necessary parts available.
