It also helped us save some precious memories recorded on an older video recording system. there were various recordings like my son's band performance, choir concerts, Christmas parades, and birthdays. The tape was stuck and wouldn't eject even when we found and pressed the reset button. Amazingly this tool box had a screwdriver small enough to fit the small fasteners on the camera. After removing all the little screws successfully we were able to remove the jammed cassette tape. This saved us $25.00 which the repair guy just wanted to look at it and another $83.00 if he could fix it. Now the camera is working again and playing all of our memories and we didn't have to spend extra money to solve the problem. The Capresso got stuck in open tap filling system. At the time I had no idea what to do. The only thing I could think of doing was opening the tab. When I did all it would say is filling system, then close tap. When I closed the tap it goes back into open tap. Terrible! From a visual check the Float valve seemed to be working okay and the water was moving - tank water flows? So what gives? Screen on the e-8 inlet wasn't clear. when this would happen i would unplug for 15min to see if i could get lucky with a reset. sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. making me late for work or embarrassing moments when a guest wanted a cup of java. limited research allowed me to first find this screwdriver set and second - that the open tap and close tap is nothing more than a loop that the jura gets stuck into. because the machine doesn't see any water flow - which is weird, because i saw water flow (or at least) i thought i did. the reason is what i think i had, the water flow wasn't enough when the water pump was on. it was rather slow. also i discovered clearly that the flow sensor was stuck. after taking off the four oval screws and torx screws using the bits - i got to the round white plastic assembly with two water hoses and a electrical connection. it was under the water tank. aw! i took it apart and cleaned out a ton of calcium, coffee sludge, and some slimy mold that was stuck in there. after i was done, the frozen paddles wheels spun freely while blowing into the inlet. i think this would have cost at least $100us to fix in a repair shop. Descaling made it leak worse. the Leak appeared to be coming from the back, without opening the jura ena 5 it was hard to tell, but It only leaks after we use it. if it wasn't used for a while it would not leak. I couldn't find the leak and the water was clear so I knew it was happening before making the coffee. Jura said ship them the jura ena 5 and for $235 they would fix it. After fast delivery of the special driver bit required for the oval head screws - I took the side panels off. The leak was coming from the right side panel as you face the jura ena 5 from the front. I could see that the leak was after the pump. the small device that looks like a small check valve that the water goes through before going up is called the membrane controller. The bottom of the membrane controller is metal and the top is plastic. I pulled the pin that connects the tube that takes the water up from the membrane controller and tried to make sure it was well seated. i went to a store that sold saecco, delonghi, jura, gaggia parts and bought a membrane controller and a couple of red o-rings. i was told the black o-rings aren't that good. i screwed it onto the pump. now my jura is better than new, it brews a wonderful espresso, with golden thick foamy crema. It brews it absolutely perfectly with no more leaks, and consistently every time. I was surprised and proud of myself that I had to tell about it. Overall the functionality of the jura ena 5 is back to normal or better than normal. i was happy i could fix it with these screwdrivers.
