The Nespresso Oval Tool worked great. The problem started when we tried to make coffee without the carafe filter (or whatever) underneath and grounds filled the brew group and water reservoir. We thought everything had been cleaned from the initial incident but the Nespresso would only steam and little drips of water into the cup while attempting to make espressos. when I opened the Nespresso maker with the Oval screwdriver I removed the hidden grounds clogging the hose and brew group. I found 2 oval pan head screws, kind of rounded - that's were I used the oval screwdriver bit. located a fuse (micro fuse) - tested it with my meter and turns out that was stopping my Cafamosa from brewing hot water. Easy fix, hard to get to without the right screwdrivers. The obvious ideal solution was to send this machine to the service repair shop for a look over. After finding out about this screwdriver set I figured I would go it alone. So far I have opened up my AEG successfully and took a break to say thanks to you guys. It's a pain, but it can be done. I don't recommend this, because I've heard that Capresso USA will refuse to service a machine that comes in without the original screws. With using a needle nose you can't be sure to be careful enough to replace the original screws without hiding the tampering marks. I found using the OEM oval screwdriver is much better and it doesn't strip out the screws. Not to mention thanks for the Fast delivery; appropriately packaged item received. I fixed this hazard, cleaned the inside as much as i could and then ran a clr rinse. working fine now. Not easy to pick it up and turn it upside down. the grinder can handle some grinds as i Have tried adding some beans yet in all it still won't grind away. tried cleaning the grinder out with a computer vacuum cleaner as much as i could without taking it apart - that didn't fix the problem. after refilling the beans it still had the same message. It grinds, but nothing is making it into the press area. it wasn't until i ordered this jura oval key that i was able to clean out the grinder and entire espresso machine. you wouldn't believe the calcium build up you are drinking daily. everyone should own one of these. if not to clean beans out, more so to clean out mold and calcium build up. I needed four different torx hexagonal and an oval unique screwdriver bit to remove all the screws. pricing them separately was more than the cost of this screwdriver set that has everything that I needed; and then some. once received i removed oval screws and hexagonal torx screw from the top back and side panels. emptied the bean water and the water tray. with the right screwdrivers i was able to avoid dismantling the coffee grinder and its hopper. this allowed me to keep the hopper rubber seals. All in all the repair went swell and I couldn't have pulled it off without the torx and oval screwdriver. so thank you for that. With or without the caffeine I love the taste. It like a pregnancy craving; and the taste of the coffee that I’ve brewed with saeco was great. Loved it, loved it, loved it. until i had both lights descaling and alarm light flashing slow. The machine was easy to use and looked pretty darn cool sitting there on my counter, but at this point it wouldn't work. i tried to reset the descaling by pressing the steam button for 10 seconds, but the lights didn't turn off. When I would turn the steam valve to steam, steam goes out the tube but I couldn't switch to hot water by pressing the button. This huge issue was going to take some encouragement to my espresso back in my cup. using the screwdrivers i checked to see if the door or drawer was open. i cleared the exclamation light by taking all of the piece out the machine: water tank, dump box, brew unit, and bean hopper lid. i made sure that the water tank was turned to the neutral close position at about 9 o clock. i waited for 30 seconds for the saeco to reset all of the sensors. then i re-inserted all the pieces one at a time making sure that the water tank was full. that cleared the exclamation light. when the steam light wasn't lit i did a reprime. next i turned open the steam knob and received a steady steam of water - that fixed the descaling light. after fiddling with the knob a bit. now the espresso starts dripping again. just in time for a thirsty coffee drinker like myself. I thought I would have to convert my Nespresso screws to flathead to reuse them, but using your oval extractor I don't find that to be a problem. The cost was a little more than I originally expected to spend. Overall I am happy with my choice.
