After opening the coffee maker and repairing the leaks from the bottom of the machine, that spilled water all over my counter top - I am brewing again, and my repair has cut down the leakage to 100%. Security Fastener Screw 102 piece Tamperproof Screwdriver Tool Kit Set Save 20% Write ReviewCarol h***30th March 2015(Authentic Customer Review)Clogged Coffee Maker - Repaired there is 4 screws in the four outside corners that needed a t10 torx screw driver of dcc-1200. after removing them i could see that the water hose got baked onto the heating element. the heating element made the hose brittle when i tried to remove it, the hose crumbled. after opening the 2 phillips screws that hold the heating element to the coffee maker, i turned and twisted the hose until it came off. cut a short piece of replacement hose made of copper to resist heat of the heating element. after de-calcium with CLR and running a few rinse cycles, i got my first cup of coffee and ooooo it tasted so good. like new, thanks to the screwdriver tool kit. I would have returned the machine, but its out of warranty. I used this screwdriver set to help me pry off the cover. I found the leak. It was at a high pressure connector - replace the o ring on the outside side the connector - that's where the leak was. I used the oval size to get into the machine and then I used it to close it up. The troubleshooting section in the manual said I need to look for component failure. I couldn't check the components I didn't even have the key to open the machine. That's when I found you guys. After opening my espresso machine I found a few bad capacitors. After replacing them my coffee machine reset. I'm not done but I should be out of the woods when I close it up. Thanks. Capresso support gave me allot of help to fix my jura, but i'm afraid that repair cost was extremely too high for me to afford at this time. i read in a blog that you could get the jura coffee maker tool, the oval, yourself off ebay. after some time looking around i came across many people offering the single oval key for the jura. at the last minute i decided to get the screwdriver set instead - for various reasons. the most important reason is that i was dealing with an error 5 issue and i needed to get into the thermal block. i figured i would need more than one just screwdriver to do that. luck on my side i was right. when the tool kit arrived in 3 days shipment time, i had everything tool and screwdriver to open and modify the jura capresso coffee maker. I tried 2 sachets of Nespresso descaling solution, distilled vinegar, CLR, and a desert spoonful of Citric Acid granules - nothing worked. It wasn't until I opened the compartment side panels and saw that the brewing mechanism was horribly populated with calcium build up. I could have ran several descaling rinses and never scratch the service. With the machine open I was able to get most of it, if not all of it cleaned out. Thanks for the quick ship. Good job. Coffee and espresso will be severed now!
