Does the job
I purchased a cable tv lock removal tool. Particularly needed the one to remove f81 traps for my job. Never considered using this type of cable tool before, most of the ones I own don't allow the handle to come off. Next morning at work I used it a few times to install and remove f81 filters and traps to activate and deactivate customer service lines. I had no problems at all using it without a handle. I had a hard to reach place that needed a little extra length, so I used my extension screwdriver handle from my tool pouch and connected it to the terminator cable tool. The results were unbelievable - reached and removed the f81 trap. Not bad! I'm satisfied with the cable tool and level of customer service that you provided to me on this order. Thanks Newelectronx!

bought these to lock and open peds while installing Time Warner Cable Internet outside of the house. there is a rash of low level cable star ped keys. i've used my fair share, and personally stay away from cheap cheap. i like this 8 point star catv tool because it won't fail unless i lose it or someone steals it.

Well made North American Rogers Cable Box Key Tool. Communication during my order was fair. The goods arrived about 4 days after ordered. You might pay a little more than normal, but the durability and delivery speed is worth it to a locator like myself. Especially when working with a crew that subcontracts for installations such as CATV, phone, electric.
how long is long enough?
Requiring a long gilbert locking terminator to perform a job. We sought out to find one on the internet. It seems the closes you can come to long is the 7 inch gilbert locking terminator which we have plenty of. Unfortunately they can't reach as far as we need. So, we ordered this rogers cable box key and put it on a 10 inch screwdriver and it performed flawless. This is our weird story of this fine terminator tool.

I have been satisfied with the F81 lock installation tool I have bought, trying to access the dish switch inside the cable box without it only caused the lock to spin. good quality and it seem to be identical to what the Sat installer used to lock the box.
