The following information is provided as a quick reference to locate the most common places screws are discovered. There is no guarantee that the screws in question will be in the said locations. Note the following: J-series, Z-series, and X5: There are two hidden security screws behind the Jura logo in the back. Turn the logo an eight of a turn clockwise (Z-series/X5) or counter-clockwise (J-series) to release it and you will find the screws. ENA-series: These machines are secured with a locking mechanism. There is a security screw behind the Jura logo in the back. Turn the logo counter-clockwise release it and you will find the screw. Remove the screw and then push the gray plate upwards to release the locking mechanism in the back. Likewise, there's another oval head screw in the front that will be visible when you pull out the tray. The locking mechanism in the front needs to be pulled down (in contrast to the one in the rear that moves upwards).

jura ena 5 leaking from front

Our jura capresso was leaking water out of the bottom. Descaling made it leak worse. the Leak appeared to be coming from the back, without opening the jura ena 5 it was hard to tell, but It only leaks after we use it. if it wasn't used for a while it would not leak. I couldn't find the leak and the water was clear so I knew it was happening before making the coffee. Jura said ship them the jura ena 5 and for $235 they would fix it. After fast delivery of the special driver bit required for the oval head screws - I took the side panels off. The leak was coming from the right side panel as you face the jura ena 5 from the front. I could see that the leak was after the pump. the small device that looks like a small check valve that the water goes through before going up is called the membrane controller. The bottom of the membrane controller is metal and the top is plastic. I pulled the pin that connects the tube that takes the water up from the membrane controller and tried to make sure it was well seated. i went to a store that sold saecco, delonghi, jura, gaggia parts and bought a membrane controller and a couple of red o-rings. i was told the black o-rings aren't that good. i screwed it onto the pump. now my jura is better than new, it brews a wonderful espresso, with golden thick foamy crema. It brews it absolutely perfectly with no more leaks, and consistently every time. I was surprised and proud of myself that I had to tell about it. Overall the functionality of the jura ena 5 is back to normal or better than normal. i was happy i could fix it with these screwdrivers.

very cost effective and works well

i bought a few of the Jura Capresso Service Repair Tools from here. we needed them to fully service coffee machines. i decided to buy the full tool kit opposed to the single Open Security Oval Head screwdriver because we have service Screws on Jura and AEG coffee makers as well as others. didn't want to limit my service techs and force them to have to buy extra screwdrivers on their own.

The Jura Capresso comes with a few cleaning tablets and a cleaning program. the recommended jura Auto Espresso Cleaning Tabs work great; and normally i would highly recommend using them. in this case, a tablet could not fix what was aching my capresso. for a significant amount of cash, shipping efforts, and cost the good old follks of jura would happily repair the push button on my jura. last time i sent it to them, they opened it up and perhaps used tablets to clean the brewer and some contact cleaner to restore function in the push button. presuming this information i thought i would follow the advice that i found on a jura maintenance blog. this purchase for the tools was highly recommended within that blog as well. after receiving the oval screwdriver, in a timely manner. i wasn't disappointed. and the epitome of my happiness came once i successfully hack through the oval screws, cleaned the brew group myself. seeing all the residue that the tablets actually leave behind. now i know several cleanings with the tablets is necessary for future. then there came the push button. i actually replaced the one in the machine with a brand new aftermarket push button. i am proud to say the capresso has never sounded so good and tasted so great.

great product and ship time was excellent!

Capresso support gave me allot of help to fix my jura, but i'm afraid that repair cost was extremely too high for me to afford at this time. i read in a blog that you could get the jura coffee maker tool, the oval, yourself off ebay. after some time looking around i came across many people offering the single oval key for the jura. at the last minute i decided to get the screwdriver set instead - for various reasons. the most important reason is that i was dealing with an error 5 issue and i needed to get into the thermal block. i figured i would need more than one just screwdriver to do that. luck on my side i was right. when the tool kit arrived in 3 days shipment time, i had everything tool and screwdriver to open and modify the jura capresso coffee maker.

Purchased my first name brand coffee maker 3 years ago. It stopped working. So I purchased a second Jura, again it stopped working at about 2.5 years. Was shopping for a espresso maker when I read a blog about Repairing a Jura Nespresso Machine. It turns out I had the same problem as something I read. There is a thermal temperature sensor screwed into the heating element. It was defective and not detecting the right temperature. After replacing them I put the Jura back together and it worked. I saved allot of money $$$$. It was that easy. I fished the other Jura out of storage and I am hoping it will have the same problem. So I can fix it quickly. Thank you for the great tool set with the right Oval screwdriver - without it this repair would not be possible. I Am now brewing on the repaired Jura while working on my second repair.
