Oval screws are obvious and appear as black or silver rivets. Recent high-end espresso and coffee machine hide proprietary screws or recess the screws which makes it less obvious how to service the coffee machines. Take for instance the these particular model numbers: J-series, Z-series, X5, ENA-series.
J-series, Z-series, X5: There are two hidden security screws behind the Jura logo in the back. Turn the logo an eight of a turn clockwise (Z-series/X5) or counter-clockwise (J-series) to release it and you will find the screws.

jura oval key
i didn't know how to take apart jura impressa. i need to clean Moulds and fungus growth in the milk container department and reset the cup count among a few other house cleaning and repair issues. anyways i ordered this tool kit and found what i need to take the machine apart without any issues.

factory service for jura repair was too high
the cost of repair for factory serviced jura reconditioning was a little more than i wanted to spend to repair capresso. thankfully so. or i wouldn't have found the oval screwdriver and torx screwdriver to take apart my jura and repair it myself. the cost for the repairs was going to be $350, but problem or error was simple. i cleared it without much time. i ran a few cleaning after putting the machine back together to ensure that the grease that i used rinsed out properly.

jura capresso service repair tool
i needed to take apart the jura impressa f7 and a capresso in order to clean them and reset the cup count. I needed four different torx hexagonal and an oval unique screwdriver bit to remove all the screws. pricing them separately was more than the cost of this screwdriver set that has everything that I needed; and then some. once received i removed oval screws and hexagonal torx screw from the top back and side panels. emptied the bean water and the water tray. with the right screwdrivers i was able to avoid dismantling the coffee grinder and its hopper. this allowed me to keep the hopper rubber seals. All in all the repair went swell and I couldn't have pulled it off without the torx and oval screwdriver. so thank you for that.

Used distilled water and vinegar to descale my impressa after a series of error 8's. tried to decalcify and error 8 came up again. after a receiving the screwdriver and a few youtube videos i managed to fix my jura.

error guide didnt work
okay, i tired the procedure where you turn machine off, turn the main power switch off and unplug machine for at least a minute. turn machine on again. it is supposed to be the solution to clear the error 8 problem. after repeating about 10 times on a jura f70 i couldn't wait any longer. tried taking the capresso impressa to the jura z5 doctor - for fixes. the doc fixes all coffee makers but the service charge started at $200 and that was just to tell me what it was going to take to repair the darn machine. ended ordering the tool and spent a weekend, and solved the error 8 problem for a fraction of the cost.

i had error on my jura capresso impressa x90 purchased at costco 3.5 years ago. so its fairly out of warranty. to escape the problem i would pull the power plug out the wall for a few minutes to allow the machine to reset. worked perfectly for a long time. the dumping motor started making repeated cycles which was weird and then the error 8 would reappear. it wasn't until i worked out opening the machine and cleaning the sludge built up and dust that i got the machine working at 90% again. thanks for shipping the screwdrivers quickly. that was great help.

jura impressa model f50
On my jura impressa f50 model, i had the indication error 8. i was able to insert the tray and the dump box, but when the coffee center would make loud noise I would see the error 8 warning. It would happen several times through out the week. Called the service center and they would instruct me to remove the whole drawer assembly and remove the ground bucket. and then insert the assembly without the ground bucket. this successfully worked the first few times, but then it stopped working. finally had to give in and buy the key to take off the oval screws and panel to clean it. it turns out that being dirty inside the block and the bean hopper sensor glued with gunk. took me about 1 hour to dismantle the machine and another 2 hours to clean out all the coffee grim and calcium. the machine is working great after all that. thanks

Jura Capresso Impressa F9 malfunction 8
unplugged the jura, removed the water tank, pulled out the bucket tray, and unscrewed the brew group. had to almost completely dismantle the machine before i could unjam the mechanism for dumpling grounds. it became stuck from coffee grounds. i got it open to cleanse the remains behind the brew group. while i was in there i also installed a fresh set of o-rings and applied lubrication before assembly. all was done fairly quickly since i had the oval screwdriver and the torx bits from this set. i was pleasantly surprised with your same day fast shipping and great service. thanks.

f9 impressa coffee error 5
my jura f9 impressa coffee machine was showing error 5. the machine was very cold and would not heat up. with this screwdriver i was able to dismantle the machine. as it appears i had a thermofuse located on the thermoblock that was broken. fixed it myself and now it working again.

Just received this Security Technician Tool Kit. So far it looks awesome. The delivery time was a little slower but the kit seems fine. I wasn't expecting much from the but ordered the kit any way. brought my jura j6 back from the dead
After 3 years of stellar performance, my Jura J6 died (6-8 cups per day). Immediately I called the Jura Help line. the technician was very nice and tried to be helpful, but her suggestions did not work. seemed as if this was a pretty common problem on jura j6 as she was very quick with suggestions. The Fill Beans message simply will not go away, despite having a full hopper of premium beans. even after i emptied it, cleaned it out, vacuumed it and let it dry as instructed by the jura tech. i specifically used beans that were not oily as i knew that could pose a problem. i ordered my set, it arrived fast, i had the fill bean message cleared in about an 5 hours after opening up the jura and cleaning it. seems a sensor was blocked by bean. couldn't reach that with a vacuum. a screwdriver was needed to remove the panels to get to it.

we love this Odea Giro screwdriver
after performing a descale on the Odea Giro, which i have done a number of times in the past. On Saturday Morning, after getting the green light and preparing to make my first coffee, the machine starts to go through the process, but then does not grind then the regular noise fades out, there is a loud pop and then everything stops and the red light comes on flashing fast. This has happened in the past and has cost me close to $400 each time to fix. We love this machine, and I didn't want to get rid of it so I figured this go around I would try fixing it myself. I ask the repairer what screwdrivers they used to open the machine. After I gave him a $20 tip he referred me to your website. He also said that the primer unit was what had been replace each time. we have limited space and i like that the screwdriver comes in a small compartment. I can keep both the coffee maker and the screwdriver kit on my counter top for future repairs. I have had no difficulties fixing my Odea Giro while using the screwdriver set. Not only did it help me repair a $400 expense, but it also helped me take the black plastic sleeve off the frother and that has made a huge difference. been using my espresso machine like that for years, and that additive gave us bubbles. After fixing with these tools, i get great froth. And if we pack the espresso well we get an excellent crema. I set my expectations appropriately when buying with you and i am delighted with the service and product that you provide.

not terribly difficult, and the coffee is oh-so-yummy
I am a self-confessed coffee junkie. With or without the caffeine I love the taste. It like a pregnancy craving; and the taste of the coffee that I’ve brewed with saeco was great. Loved it, loved it, loved it. until i had both lights descaling and alarm light flashing slow. The machine was easy to use and looked pretty darn cool sitting there on my counter, but at this point it wouldn't work. i tried to reset the descaling by pressing the steam button for 10 seconds, but the lights didn't turn off. When I would turn the steam valve to steam, steam goes out the tube but I couldn't switch to hot water by pressing the button. This huge issue was going to take some encouragement to my espresso back in my cup. using the screwdrivers i checked to see if the door or drawer was open. i cleared the exclamation light by taking all of the piece out the machine: water tank, dump box, brew unit, and bean hopper lid. i made sure that the water tank was turned to the neutral close position at about 9 o clock. i waited for 30 seconds for the saeco to reset all of the sensors. then i re-inserted all the pieces one at a time making sure that the water tank was full. that cleared the exclamation light. when the steam light wasn't lit i did a reprime. next i turned open the steam knob and received a steady steam of water - that fixed the descaling light. after fiddling with the knob a bit. now the espresso starts dripping again. just in time for a thirsty coffee drinker like myself.

I love my jura Brewer! It’s sleek and sophisticated design goes well with other kitchen appliances. It also doesn’t take up much space so those with a limited amount of counter space don’t be worried. few ounces of water can be held in the reservoir at once and heats up in less than five minutes or less. For those on the go this is great for fast-paced mornings, it is also easy to use and it’s touch screen gives you step by step directions. You can also control the strength of your coffee latte espresso. personally like my coffee strong so I’m glad I am able to dictate that. you can imagine how upset i was friday morning when i tried to brew a cup of java; and my jura read error 8 on the display. upset. very upset. had to visit the local coffee shop before work for my fix. on saturday i ordered the jura screwdrivers. received them on tuesday. cleaned my brew group thoroughly on tuesday night. and got back to what i love on wednesday morning. these screwdrivers pulled through with this one.

saeco flashing red light
my saeco had a flashing red light and wouldn't pump prime after cleaning. tried setting my grind 2 notches coarser and brewed six times to clear the mixture of old and new grinds. i ended up pulling the saeco apart and cleaning the brew group because the brand of beans that i was using was too oily. it was leaving slurry of slush. it was thick that the descale wouldn't clear it. even after about 20 descales. opening the saeco up and thoroughly cleaning it was the only way to get my coffee machine back to normal.
