Do you consider yourself a DIY person who can clean, service or fix your own Jura coffee machine? Dismantling and reassembling a Jura coffee machine could become a task of epic hobby proportions without the proper Oval Pan Head, Torx screwdrivers and other necessary professional tools.

A weird tasting coffee, or funky cappuccino results when an Capresso Impressa automatic commercial coffee machine is not serviced, maintained, or cleaned often enough. Appearances of mold and fungus growing where coffee grounds belong; or if the brew is adulterated - a repair coffee service firm should probably be contacted. Jura leak when O-rings and/or gaskets fail. Their internal coffee grinders can grind to a halt when clogged with oils from coffee beans. A word of advice, don't attempt to dismantle the coffee grinder, hopper, or perform servicing without the right tools.

I presume that you'll need a few Torx; hexagonal and possibly unique screwdriver bits to remove all security fastener screws. Use of pliers to undo the oval headed screws probably isn't the best idea for your expensive AEG home coffee machines. i bought this tool to fix the nespresso machine. there is fixing with a little round elevation. it has no visible indentation to attach for removal. i was told that this is screw and it need to be removed by a rounded screwdriver. i could buy the cheap one, but i need to use this more than one time. i bought it here - ship was good and i am happy with the product.

Jura Capresso C1000 Espresso

With this tool set I was able to use the oval screwdriver to replace the two large O rings and clean the complete machine. I left the machine in the resting position with the piston of the brewing Body (4 1/2 turns) then I plugged the power cord in, having the coffee machine almost completely assembled to test it. Turn ON and the system starts to work. It goes up and down and up and down again. Operation was a full success the pistons weren't too high and they were able to completely cycle on the first try. No blinking alternating green and red lights. This is a wonderful place to shop when you need the right oval and torx screwdriver all in one set. Thank you all so much for helping me to save my Jura Capresso. Now its expresso time.!!!

how i used the jura oval head key

the weirdest thing started happening on my jura e85. it was taking a long time to produce a single cup of coffee. the java would trickle out in small amounts. the cups that it made looked normal it was just frustrating waiting so long for a single cup. my wife and i recently had a small get together and it was embarrassing telling our guest to wait a little longer for their espresso. after that i knew i had to do something. after placing my order something else started happening. when trying to produce hot water, a sputtering show of water turned directly into steam. before it was a strong stream of hot water that we used to make tea and whatnot. i thought a few decalcifications would clean the machine with a few rinse cycles. that gave no noticeable improvement. there went lost money on tablets. once my tools arrived in about 2 days, i started taking apart the machine and was relieved to take out the oval screws without any problem. the key worked amazingly!!! it turns out that the sieve in the brewing unit was clogged with oily coffee grounds, sludge of some sort, and guess what - calcium. i guess the descales weren't doing much of anything at this point. i went to work - cleaning everything: brew unit and even behind the sieve. i also changed the two o-rings and then put it all back together. it wasn't as complicated as i imagined it to be. i thought i would have to send the jura to a local service dealer, but when i made our first cups of coffee after the repairs. my wife and I knew that repair was a success. thanks to these screwdrivers i will be looking forward to having a successful cup alone or with company over the house.

Nespresso Leaking Water

My Nespresso was leaking water. To repair the water leak I tried descaling the Nespresso with cleaning tablets. It removed a good portion of calcium built up inside which was blocking the water flow. When I first got my machine 7 years ago, it was recommended by the Jura tech to do this every 180 cycles. Admittedly I probably missed a few during the years considering the calcium build up. It turns out that although this did remove good bit of calcium it did not resolve the leak. It turns out that the leak was coming from the pump. Which is why I needed to order this tool, without it I probably would still be descaling endlessly.

it was almost impossible to access the brewing unit without removing the jura oval head screws to get to the water tank. the panels had to come off. i ordered this special tool and removed the oval head security screws. after disassemble I lubricated the jura including the o-rings. luckily they were reusable. the brew head of the jura z5 is running smoothly after repairs. this saved me money

So I had a Jura Capresso Error 8 problem. The Capresso got stuck in open tap filling system. At the time I had no idea what to do. The only thing I could think of doing was opening the tab. When I did all it would say is filling system, then close tap. When I closed the tap it goes back into open tap. Terrible! From a visual check the Float valve seemed to be working okay and the water was moving - tank water flows? So what gives? Screen on the e-8 inlet wasn't clear. when this would happen i would unplug for 15min to see if i could get lucky with a reset. sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. making me late for work or embarrassing moments when a guest wanted a cup of java. limited research allowed me to first find this screwdriver set and second - that the open tap and close tap is nothing more than a loop that the jura gets stuck into. because the machine doesn't see any water flow - which is weird, because i saw water flow (or at least) i thought i did. the reason is what i think i had, the water flow wasn't enough when the water pump was on. it was rather slow. also i discovered clearly that the flow sensor was stuck. after taking off the four oval screws and torx screws using the bits - i got to the round white plastic assembly with two water hoses and a electrical connection. it was under the water tank. aw! i took it apart and cleaned out a ton of calcium, coffee sludge, and some slimy mold that was stuck in there. after i was done, the frozen paddles wheels spun freely while blowing into the inlet. i think this would have cost at least $100us to fix in a repair shop.

the problem started off and on about a few weeks ago. my Capresso LCD stays on displaying that Hot water cycle necessary - needs attention? it would not make coffee. the only thing i could get out of it was a drop of clear water and air. i bought these tools to get pass this brewing stage. this tool set is awesome it had everything i would ever want to dismantle a C1300. once i opened the side panels of the jura machine i could see air pockets in the water line. seemed like the air bubbles were coming from the solenoid through the heater block. i opened the hot water tap, making sure to remove the end of water line connecting directly to the solenoid and heater block. at the solenoid portion of the water line is where i bleed air out. following the air was calcium deposits, coffee brew grounds, and a bit of sludge. putting the machine back together with the screwdriver set i replaced the oval head screws on the back. powered the jura up and ran a few descales. after that i brewed up a few cups and fine tasting espressos.
