Do you consider yourself a DIY person who can clean, service or fix your own Jura coffee machine? Dismantling and reassembling a Jura coffee machine could become a task of epic hobby proportions without the proper Oval Pan Head, Torx screwdrivers and other necessary professional tools.

A weird tasting coffee, or funky cappuccino results when an Krups automatic commercial coffee machine is not serviced, maintained, or cleaned often enough. Appearances of mold and fungus growing where coffee grounds belong; or if the brew is adulterated - a repair coffee service firm should probably be contacted. Krups leak when O-rings and/or gaskets fail. Their internal coffee grinders can grind to a halt when clogged with oils from coffee beans. Remember what the Franke home coffee machines manual notes, poorly maintained equipment will produce funky brews at best; and leak all over the counter top - at worst. Now that the commercial espresso machines parts have arrived. The inventory list includes: a pack of OEM Franke O-rings and grease; encoder; water inlet; water pipes; water tanks; pump; solenoid; valve; grinding wheels; grinder unit; heater. A word of advice, don't attempt to dismantle the coffee grinder, hopper, or perform servicing without the right tools.

I presume that you'll need a few Torx; hexagonal and possibly unique screwdriver bits to remove all security fastener screws. Use of pliers to undo the oval headed screws probably isn't the best idea for your expensive Capresso Impressa commercial espresso machines. removing a few oval head screws

In a search "how to remove oval head screws" for Repairing a Jura Nespresso Machine. I found a few helpful websites. This being one I would like to mention. Without this set I would not be sipping nice hot espresso at the moment. The shipping box was in great shape and contents packed very well. After receiving it I successfully pulled apart the coffee machine and replaced a few Polyproplene capacitor. Everything worked out well.

dont go it alone

I have removed these screws with a needle nose. It's a pain, but it can be done. I don't recommend this, because I've heard that Capresso USA will refuse to service a machine that comes in without the original screws. With using a needle nose you can't be sure to be careful enough to replace the original screws without hiding the tampering marks. I found using the OEM oval screwdriver is much better and it doesn't strip out the screws. Not to mention thanks for the Fast delivery; appropriately packaged item received.

A girl gets cranky without her espresso machine

Screaming to the top of my head when my Jura espresso machine went on the blink!!! Yikes! Didn't want to have to drive to the repair store. I would rather save the price in gas. Trying to be on the cheap.

I looked up espresso machine repair and came up with this tool kit. I'm a female techie so I thought I'd give repairing it myself a shot. I talked with a few of my friends who are coffee and espresso equipment technicians, rather specialist. Their walk through only cost me the price of a case.

All in all I got the machine going in a few days with careful attention to detail. I don't think I would have gotten this far without my friends, and certainly without the screwdrivers. Its good to have the tool kit around, it gives me confidence that if anything happens again my coffee machine is guarded.

stopped producing steam

I've owned my Jura C5 for over 3 years. It has never been broken before. Suddenly it stopped producing steam. When I tried to descale it, there was a loud noise. It was obvious some part is broken inside due to the steam pressure. The warranty was over in January last year. Considering the high total cost of the repair shop, I thought it would be better to fix the Jura on my own. Using online help and this tool kit I managed to remove the oval pan head and torx security screws. Found the source of my problem and repaired it. good item.

My Capresso espresso machine is broken, so I emailed these folks. Response time was fairly quick considering their website said they would reply within 3 days, its more like 3 to 5 minutes.

They asked me allot of questions: like what type of coffee machine do I own. After a few moments they went to check for me based on what I told them. After their discovery, they gave me some very helpful advice!

My machine is a higher end coffee and espresso equipment. I appreciate the candid advice to help repair my machine. I will remember the nice CS and how the folks that I talked here treated me.

everything is going well for me

I scored at a public storage auction! I found the Ferrari of espresso restaurant machines - a high end quality espresso machine. I presume that the storage lot belonged to a restaurant supply store. There was allot of equipment in that lot that was relatively similar to what you see in Starbucks.

We all know what high performance means - that's right high maintenance :( I tried taking the machine to a few service companies to get it checked out. Turns out there were a few issues that I needed to take care of before my first brewed cup because the espresso machine was sitting idle for so long that apparently it had several issues that needed to be addressed.

After searching I found a factory that gave me a hit list on exactly what was wrong with the machine. It read like a rap sheet; it listed all the things that were wrong with the machine. Thank goodness the shop was friendly enough to provide me a list of the parts needed, because I couldn't afford their service charges and hourly rates. After they helped me source parts, which wasn't that expensive going through them. I ordered my own tool kit here.

This is a first class operation. They are quick with follow ups - a response came within minutes of leaving my question. Lots of expert advice. Not to mention friendly, and I would say for what I received the tool kit is reasonably priced. I also got some expert advice.

Everything is looking good so far, the tools work amazingly well and I am still waiting for a few parts to come in, so thought I would take this time to leave my story. Not bad for buying a commercial machine on the cheap.
