Im a little confused here!
I purchased the TriStar DVR a few months ago and paid for the 250 gig hard drive to be filled with movies and i did receive them with no problem. My question is now, where and how to i continue to download current movies to my DVR. It is a bit confusing as im not sure if i have to pay more to where extacly do i access the movies for download on ur site. Please advise.frisk117 Downloading movies to your DVR is very simple. If that is too confusing then just click this link: Files / Documentation / Manual. Once there select Download your manuals. Look under: Download Manuals: OPEN in the Movies category. Select the Movie you want to download from the drop down menu. Save that movie on to your computer and then transfer it on to a SD Memory card, USD External hard drive, or Flash drive. Place the memory source inside the TriStar MX DVR and either play it directly from the memory source or save it to your DVR internal hard drive. If you have your computer networked with the TriStar MX DVR then you can simply access the drive from the DVR and watch the movie without putting it on a memory card, or you can connect the DVR to your computer and use it as an external hard drive and transfer the movie to the DVR. You see, you have many options to do this with the DVR. If you need more help then please let us know and someone will try to explain it better.

CFT 2224/0800 with Super J 5 Wire Test Chip - Not working
Hi! I bought a top box CFT 2224/0800 installed with the Super J 5 Wire Test Chip. In my laboratory, when I connect the cable. it naturaly works fine with avaliable channels, but not unlock other channels, where I just can hear the sound, but not descramble image. I open the box and find the the super J 5 there, connected. But I dont have any idea if is right or wrong connections. Does anybody have an installation diagram for this specific model? I´d like to verify whats wrong with my box, and the reasons that J5 is not descrambling. I could send a picture of J5 connections, if necessary. My best regards! Luis.  If the CFT 2224/0800 decoder / descrambler already has a Super J 5 Wire test chip installed into it then all you would need to do is connect the F connectors to the TV and incoming cable coax wire. Turn the cable box power on and allow the Super J 5 Wire to absorb the incoming coax wire signal. Once the Super J 5 Wire has enough information, it will automatically give you channels and fully map them to your cable companies analog set up (channel tier). There should be no reason to open the cable box and examine it. However, if you suspect the Super J 5 Wire test chip is not installed properly then you should download the manual for the Super J 5 Wire from the Download section in the forum.
