Security Shield Tools
Security Shield Tools are used with 7/16" hex shielded F Connectors. Design includes extended 7/16" shank for ease of use. Security Shield Tool application provides steel loop ring that aids in extra torque, leverage, or for carrying - clips onto tool bag or pouch. Machined and heat-treated steel for maximum durability; the security shield tool high carbon steel is hardened providing the strength for the tool to free fittings from threads seized by oxidation.
The Security Shield Tool is handy for attaching and removing coaxial cables from VCR, DVR, DVD, VHS, Cable, Satellite receivers, and TV when you're working in tight places.How to use the Security Shield Tools
The Security Shield Tools is designed to work with shielded f-fittings and terminators. Place the Security Shield Tool over the F connector. The Security Shield Tool will not crack like those supplied by other manufacturers. Turn the Security Shield Tool right or left to loosen or tighten the f-fitting. For extra tightening or to loosen fittings seized by oxidation use the pivotal loop ring handle to adequately gain more leverage. In cold weather, Security Shield Tools can assist when inserting the cable into the connector on inside and outside satellite, wireless, telecommunication, and cable jobs.
